30 Days 30 Songs Announce Third Week of Artists, Listen to Jesu/Sun Kil Moon’s Collaboration

Third Week of Artists Against Donald Trump Includes Jesu/Sun Kil Moon, Ani Difranco, Loudon Wainwright, Helado Negro, Andrew Bird with Jim James, Mirah, Radioinactive, Blake Hazard, Andrew St. James, Sam Cohen, and John Wesley Harding

The third instalment of of 30 Days, 30 Songs, an independent project in support of defeating this year’s Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, has been announced. Created by writer Dave Eggers and the team that brought you 2012’s 90 Days, 90 Reasons, 30 Days, 30 Songs is a daily, evolving playlist.

The response to the project from artists across the world has been so amazing, that Eggers and co. have decided to expand the project to include 40 Songs in 30 Days. This week’s songs kick off today with a collaboration between Jesu and Sun Kil Moon, entitled “The Greatest Conversation Ever In The History Of The Universe,” and is the first taste of a record the two will be releasing next year on Caldo Verde Records.

This week also includes artists such as Radioinactive, Andrew St. James, Ani Difranco, Helado Negro, Andrew Bird with Jim James, Mirah, Sam Cohen, Blake Hazard, John Wesley Harding, and Loudon Wainwright.

All proceeds generated by 30 Days, 30 Songs will be donated to the Center for Popular Democracy (CDP) and their efforts to achieve Universal Voter Registration for all Americans (https://cpdaction.org/).
